HUSKER FOOTBALL YOUTH CAMP

The Husker Youth Football Camps is for boys and girls entering the 3rd-8th grade in the Fall of 2019.

EACH CAMPER MUST SUBMIT A COMPLETED PHYSICAL FROM HIS/HER DOCTOR OR PHYSICIAN FOR THE 2018-2019 SCHOOL YEAR AND IT MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN A YEAR OF THE CAMP START DATE. THIS FORM MUST BE SUBMITTED ONLINE PRIOR TO THE START OF CAMP.

This camp is designed to teach the fundamentals and techniques of football. The campers will be broken down into groups by age/grade level to receive as much information and instruction as possible.

Check in will be at Gate 11 of Memorial Stadium on June 8th, 2019. Instruction and drills will take place in memorial stadium as well as the Indoor and Outdoor Practice Facilities.

Snacks will be provided during camp as well as Lunch after. If the camper is participating in both sessions, they will be able to eat lunch in between the am and pm sessions. We recommend each camper to eat before they get to camp.

What to Bring:

Cleats or Tennis Shoes
Athletic Shorts
T-Shirt
Sunscreen
No helmets or Shoulder Pads

What will be provided:

Snacks
Water/Gatorade
Camp T-Shirt
Lunch (Firehouse Subs)

Sample Camp Schedule (Session 1):

8:00- 9:00 am: Registration
9:00- 9:15am: On the field/warm-ups
9:15-10:45am: Individual Position Instruction
10:45-11:00am: Snack Break
11:00am-12:00pm: Husker Ball
12:00 pm Closing comments – Coach Frost

12:30-1:30pm : Registration
1:30-1:45pm: On the field/warm-ups
1:45-3:15pm: Individual Position Instruction
3:15-3:30pm: Snack Break
3:30pm-4:30pm: Husker Ball
4:30 pm Closing comments – Coach Frost

Parent Information:

Parents may attend all camp sessions but is not required
Seating will not be provided on the Practice Fields.
Parents may bring their own chair as long as it is in a safe distance away from the drills on the field.

All campers must be picked up by a Parent/Guardian at the end of camp.
