Fundamentals Clinic: Featuring Andy Tracy

 

Andy TracyThe Second Annual Bowling Green High School Baseball Fundamentals Clinic, featuring former MLB player, BGSU and BGHS graduate, Andy Tracy will be Saturday, February 2nd, 2019. All participants will gain individualized instruction from Andy Tracy, the BGHS coaching staff, and Bobcat players. The clinic will cover the fundamentals needed to be mastered for optimal baseball performance and include three distinct areas: Hitting, Throwing/Pitching, and Fielding. Instruction and examples of proper form will be reviewed and reinforcement drills will be completed by participants. The High School Clinic portion (2-3 pm) will consist of Andy talking baseball. He will share his experiences and the lessons learned during his life-long baseball journey. He will provide baseball insights, inspiration, and tactical measures high school players should take to reach and surpass their personal aspirations in baseball and life. All registered participants (any age) and parents are welcome to join us for the High School Clinic portion. We also invite all Bowling Green Community Volunteer coaches to attend for free and thank you for your service to improving youth baseball in Bowling Green

Location: Bowling Green High School, 520 W. Poe Rd., Bowling Green, OH 43402. We will be in the gym and auxiliary gymnasium.

What to bring:

  • Ages 8 - 15 should bring baseball glove/bat.
  • High school students do not need to bring anything.

What to wear:

  • Ages 8 - 15 should wear baseball pants, baseball cap, baseball jersey/t-shirt, tennis shoes.
  • High school students need to wear tennis shoes. No other special attire required.
