Winter Track & Field Clinics
Helping You Become Better!
- Enhance your knowledge of various track and field events
- Cover both the theory and application of the fundamentals involved in successfully competing in each event
- Athletes divided into four training groups: sprints, jumps, hurdles and throws
- General sprint mechanics and principles will be taught to all sprinters, jumpers, and hurdlers followed by specific event instruction
- Separate throwing sessions
- Healthy lifestyle instruction
- Instruction in strength training, nutritional principles, injury prevention strategies, all to enhance athletic performance

Only one event can be selected per session (Throws and Pole Vault will cover both sessions)

What to Bring
Workout attire, event shoes (throw shoes/spikes), water bottle, towel
Location
The Central College campus is located in Pella, Iowa, about 40 miles southeast of Des Moines and 25 miles south of Interstate 80. Registration for all clinic sessions will be held at the Kuyper Athletics Complex on Independence Street. The complex is on the west edge of the campus and in the southwest section of Pella.
