Spartan Prep

High school students entering grades 9-12 in fall 2026 can explore areas of interest and get an inside look into majors such as nursing, engineering, and exercise science.

These four-day, half-day camps provide immersive, hands-on experiences designed to inspire discovery and exploration. Each week offers up to two camp options, ranging from nursing and engineering to exercise science and sport management.

Daily Schedule: Monday - Thursday 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Price: $317 per Session
($299 + $18 Fee)

The first week, 6/15-6/18 will offer the following sessions:

Week 1: Nursing 
Are you interested in a rewarding career in the healthcare field? This summer, explore the world of nursing at York College’s Dr. Donald E. and Lois J. Myers School of Nursing and Health Professions, designed for high school students. You’ll get an exclusive look at what it takes to become a nurse and experience hands-on learning in an authentic college environment.

Week 1: Engineering
Get ready to build, innovate, and problem-solve this summer at Spartan Prep Engineering Camp. This is your chance to get an authentic taste of a college engineering program and work in a state-of-the-art facility.

Beyond the labs, you’ll learn from experts in the field and collaborate with other students who share your passion for creating. Our program offers a practical, engaging experience that helps you discover which area of engineering is right for you. Join us to see how you can turn your ideas into a reality and lay the groundwork for a successful future!

The second week, 6/29-7/2 will offer the following session:

Week 2: Biology
Are you fascinated by the natural world? Do you want to know what makes living things tick? This summer, join us for our hands-on biology camp. With a strong focus on practical application and mentorship, you’ll explore a variety of topics within the field of biology.

This is a great opportunity to engage in meaningful scientific exploration. You’ll work side-by-side with our industry experts, prepare for a future in the life sciences, and engage with others who share your interests. Join us and discover your place in the living world!

Week 2: Criminal Justice
This summer, explore the world of law enforcement, forensics, and the judicial system in our Spartan Prep Criminology/Criminal Justice Camp.

You will learn from experts in the field with real-world experience and explore a variety of topics, gaining a better understanding of what it takes to work in this dynamic field.

The third week, 7/13-7/16 will offer the following session:

Week 3: Exercise Science
For those passionate about health, wellness, and human performance, the Spartan Prep Exercise Science Camp allows you to get a hands-on look at what it takes to help others improve their physical abilities and overall quality of life.

This camp blends scientific knowledge with practical, real-world experience, just like our college-level curriculum. You’ll work with experienced mentors and gain valuable experience.

This is the perfect camp for aspiring physical therapists, athletic trainers, or fitness professionals. You’ll build a strong foundation for future study and career success in a growing field. Join us to find out how you can turn your passion into a purpose!

Week 3: Sport Management
Spartan Explore Sport Management Camp is your chance to get a behind-the-scenes look at the business of sports: the marketing, media, and business savvy that makes the sports industry thrive.

This program offers a hands-on look at the many sides of sports management. You’ll work with experts in the field and see how students gain practical skills. Join us to turn your passion for sports into a professional path!
