Tryout Details

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING OUR TRYOUT PROCESS

Online registration must be completed by Friday, April 5th 2026 by EOD – Registration Link Below

  • Game Day Material for Tryout Video can be found HERE
  • Video submission will be due by Sunday, April 5th at Midnight. Send to gcucheerleaders@gcu.edu
  • Videos will be reviewed throughout the week of tryouts.
  • Candidates that are selected from video tryouts will be announced with the team on Instagram, Saturday, April 11th.  
  • For those making the team, must be available for the following June dates:
    • June 19th - 26th (Lodging is Not Provided)
  • Some financial obligations of June tryouts/practices will be the responsibility of the candidate – including travel, potential lodging & food and any other associated costs.

Thursday, April 9th | Optional Open Gym 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Friday, April 10th | Evaluations 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Saturday, April 11th | Interviews + Evaluations 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Sunday, April 12th | First Practice 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
*Can fly out anytime after 3:00 PM on April 12th

**Please note this is a CLOSED tryout. No outside parties, families, friends, etc. will be allowed in the CAC / Tryout area.

Refund Policy: All refunds are subject to a 30% non-refundable and non-transferable administration fee except when a camp is canceled or rescheduled by GCU. In the event that a camp or clinic is canceled, a full refund will be processed. Requests for refund via medical issues must be accompanied with a doctor’s note. Refund requests made within 10 days of the start of camp, will only be eligible for future camp credit.

If you purchase our third party camp insurance and meet the criteria for refund, you will not have to pay the administration fee.

Per NCAA rules, all sport camps and clinics conducted by Grand Canyon University are open to any and all entrants and enrollment is only limited based on age, grade level, gender, or number restrictions as specified by each camp.
