2018 OC Softball Camps
The OC Softball Camp staff has long-time experience in softball camp operations and works to make our camp a fun learning experience. The staff will include current OC coaches and players that offer a variety of expertise and skill.
In the general camps, campers will learn fundamentals of throwing, fielding, hitting, bunting, and base running that is appropriate for the age level of each camper.
The last week of specialty camp will focus on pitching, catching, and hitting for those that are interested in developing their specialty skills.
*Campers can bring their lunch and eat at the facility or parents may take players to lunch. Campers may also use Eagle Bucks to purchase drinks and snacks from the concession stand throughout the day.
Discounts for OC Softball Alumni, OC Faculty/Staff, and team discounts (valid for campers that have 6+ players attending from one team) are available. Please contact jessica.ruckman@oc.edu for a discount code PRIOR to registration for these discounts.
Eagle Camp
May 29 - June 1
Times: 9:00am-2:00pm (lunch from 12:00-12:30)
Ages: 5-10
Cost: $225 | Camp T-shirt and Awards for all campers
*Games will be played in the afternoon*
Location: Lawson Softball Complex- 2501 E. Memorial Road, Edmond, OK 73013. The softball facility is located on the north side of campus. If inclement weather strikes, the indoor facility will be able to safely accommodate campers.
Camp Directors: Steve Gault- Assistant coach in his 23rd year at OC. Steve is a specialist in pitcher development and also works with the hitters.
Jessica Ruckman- Associate Head Coach in her 7th season at OC. Jessica works with defense and hitters.
