2018 Strong in Every Way Community Challenge

If you love the outdoors, love family time, love your community and enjoy your school and colleagues, you will want to put together a team for this summer's Community Challenge. The Strong in Every Way Community Challenge is patterned after similar Corporate Challenge events but modified so that ALL community members can participate. Participants can be anyone over the age of 5 including: families, children, adults, and senior citizens.

We need you! Start putting your teams together now. Let the games begin! Let's embrace a little friendly competition in the spirit of community.

This year's "friend-raiser" will focus on:

• Building webs of support within the community
• Promoting wellness
• Developing community pride

Each team is asked to complete a service project prior to the event. Teams can be made of various organizations and friends, Invite everyone you know to participate! Teams will compete within a division of teams of similar size. Divisions are organized according to the number and size of teams entering the challenge.

Team registration fees will be waived for those teams that complete a service project and submit appropriate proof of completion. Individual and/or family registration fees will be charged to cover the cost of T-Shirts for participants.

The morning event schedule:

8am DanceFit by Erin in the St. Vincent Stadium

8:30 am Cricket Demonstration & try it time

9am Competition begins with 30-minute rotations with 15-minute transition time: Kickball, Volleyball, Tug-Of-War, CornHole, Inner Tube Relays in the pool!

12:30pm Awards ceremony!

There will be food trucks serving lunch and snacks, a kids/safety zone provided for down time.
