ABOUT SUMMER OVERNIGHT CAMP #2-COACHES TRAINING

COACHES TRAINING #2

Dates: Friday, July 20th - Monday, July 23rd, 2018
Cost: $150 per Coach

During our 4-day camp, coaches will have the opportunity to observe our coaching staff and athletes work with camp participants to learn safe and proper progressions in acro (stunting), pyramid, toss and tumbling. In addition, coaches will attend 5 coaches’ meeting/training sessions throughout the duration of the camp. Our goal is to help you better understand the fundamentals of Acrobatics & Tumbling. In addition, coaches will be given the chance to learn how to properly train and progress various skills in our sport, learn the rules/requirements provided by the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA), and cultivate a knowledge for how to properly prepare their athletes to transition into Acrobatics & Tumbling at the collegiate level.

5 Informational Sessions, Coaches Manual & Camp T-Shirt

Schedule

Day 1
- Check-in @ 2:00 PM in Moshofsky Center
  **Will host one coaches meeting / training session.
Day 2 & 3
- 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM
  **Will host two coaches meeting / training sessions on each day.
Day 4
- 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  **Mock Meet in which parents are invited to attend will begin at 10:30 AM.

Lodging & Transportation
Coaches will be responsivle for arranging their lodging and transportation.
**A list of suggested hotels can be emailed upon request.

Paperwork (**REQUIRED!**)
Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation email with necessary forms that need to be completed and sent in to Megan Bamford at bamfordm@uoregon.edu prior to attending camp.

REFUNDS WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE FOR DOCUMENTED MEDICAL REASONS.
