July HS Prospect Camp
Event Description
|
Oregon Baseball will host a High School Prospect Camp at PK Park. Players grades 9th-12th will work with UO players and coaches to evaluate, instruct and implement various baseball skills throughout the three day camp. The first day will include an evaluation of the players with basic instruction on the fundamentals of defense and offense. The second two days players will be run through several position specific drills for their defensive work. All players will then be put through offensive stations using tee and toss drills, machine work, and coaches throwing live batting practice to work on their offensive skills. The afternoon sessions on the second two days will be designed for scrimmages where pitchers will throw competitively to live hitters and position players will be split into teams to play their defensive positions and take at bats against the pitchers.
