2019 PITT BASEBALL SUMMER MIDDLE SCHOOL & HIGH SCHOOL PROSPECT SKILLS CAMP II (14-18U)

The Summer Middle School & High School Camp is a 2-day camp designed to benefit the player looking to improve their skill set.  Summer camps are development based camps that will include instruction in all facets of the game, with breakout sessions for position specific development.

The clinic is held at the Petersen Baseball Complex located at 365 Robinson Street Extension, Pittsburgh, PA 15219

Monday, July 22 - Tuesday, July 23

CAMP PARTICIPATION
Limited To Players Ages 14 - 18U

CAMP CHECK-IN
The camp check-in time will be from 8:00am-8:30am at the Petersen Baseball Complex.

DAILY CAMP TIMES
Starts: 8:30am / Ends: 3:00pm

TUITION
$195.00 per Camp
Tuition does not include any meals, transportation, or lodging. The camp is not an overnight camp, thus players are responsible for their own hotel and transportation.

ESTIMATED DAILY SCHEDULE
8:00am - 8:30am → Registration Begins
8:30am - 9:00am → Dynamic Warm Up/Throwing Program
9:00am - 11:30am → Instruction
11:30am - 12:15pm → Break for Lunch
12:15pm - 12:30pm → Dynamic Warm Up
12:30pm - 2:50pm → Instruction
2:50pm - 3:00pm → Session Wrap Up

EQUIPMENT
Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, helmet, bat, batting gloves and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Please mark camper’s names on all items. The camp is not responsible for lost belongings.

MEALS
Meals during camp are the responsibility of the camper. Water will be provided at the event.

PARKING
Parking is available in the OC Parking Lot located across from the Fitzgerald Fieldhouse on Allequippa Street. All vehicles parked on campus are subject to The University of Pittsburgh and the City of Pittsburgh parking regulations.

WAIVER
Medical Information is required. Please complete, sign and bring to registration.

IMPORTANT NOTE
Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
PITT Baseball Camps have an open-door policy regarding watching your son practice and play while at camp. Should you want to arrange an official tour of campus, you will need to contact the Admissions Office at https://oafa.pitt.edu/visit/tours/.

CANCELLATION POLICY
All camps are non-refundable. Only camp credits will be given except in unforeseen circumstances, such as injuries or other unique situations. Please send your cancellation requests directly to the camp administrator, David Stark at dstark@athletics.pitt.edu. Your request must be sent 7 days prior to the start of camp to receive a future camp credit.
