Valley City State University Volleyball Camps
All Skills Camp
VCSU coaching staff and players are excited to coach the skills of volleyball the way they are performed at VCSU. This is a grueling camp which ends with over 20 hours of volleyball in three days. Players will be divided by skill level and each athlete will receive instruction on how to perform each skill of the game. We start with passing and progress through hitting, serving, transition, setting, defense, and blocking. Each skill is covered in depth and improvement is required before moving on to the next skill. Offensive and defensive systems and tactics will also be covered. Each session will not only include skill instruction but also playing and competition. A basic session includes drills with a high amount of feedback, ending with competition where the previous instruction provided can be reinforced.

What to bring: Overnight campers need to bring their own bedding (IE: sleeping bag or sheets, pillow, toiletries, and towel). They will stay in the residential halls on the campus of VCSU. (The rooms will be air-conditioned!)
*A Certified Athletic Trainer will be present during the entirety of camp
**Each Participant who registers before May 15th will be guaranteed a T-shirt and a drawstring bag. All other Camp attendees who register after May 15th will receive a T-shirt and a drawstring bag while supplies last.
