High School Prospect Development Camp
High School Prospect Camps
All of our High School Camps emphasize practice techniques used by our Monmouth players. Each camper will be exposed to drills and techniques that will enable each participant to improve their personal game. Due to the increased number of players, games and an ever changing recruiting calendar, the Monmouth staff uses these camps as an important part of the recruiting process.
Please be aware that our camps have sold out in the past and we have limited enrollment to insure each player gets the best instruction possible. Please register ASAP to secure a spot. There are still spots available, but they are filling up quickly.
The Prospect Development Clinic will be run like a Monmouth University baseball practice. It will include individualized defense, team oriented defense, base running, and a full college batting practice with specific rounds that are for team offense and individual offense. Pitchers will go through the MU arm care, flexibility and throwing program, along with a guided bullpen session.
The Prospect Showcase Camp will be run like a showcase. The day will begin with both offensive and defense skill instruction. After skill instruction, the players will go through a showcase which includes running the 60, infield and outfield play, catchers throwing to bases, pitchers bullpens, as well as batting practice. A modified game will also be played. Pitchers will go through the MU arm care, flexibility and throwing program, along with a guided bullpen session.
