Leatherneck Team Camp

This camp is designed for girls’ varsity and junior varsity teams to get ready for the upcoming season.  Teams will learn through competitive drills and competing together as a team. High school coaches may coach their own team or a coach will be assigned to your team and will plan training sessions to address each team's specific needs. The team will also have daily competitions and tournament play to work on applying the skills and strategies learned during training sessions.

The WIU staff will also provide opportunities for team building throughout the camp. The final day of camp will consist of a camp tournament.

Please note that each individual team member must register for camp through this site. There is an area on the registration page to identify your team.

Saturday, July 13

8:30 AM - 9:30 AM          Resident Check-In
9:15 AM - 9:45 AM          Commuter Check-In
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM      Session 1 | Training with Collegiate Staff and WIU Staff
12:00 PM - 1:30 PM        Lunch Break- (commuters bring own lunch)
1:30 PM - 4:00 PM          Session 2 | Training with Collegiate Staff and WIU staff/ Camp Tourney
4:00 PM – 5:30 PM         Dinner Break- All participants receive dinner
5:30: PM - 8:00 PM         Session 3 | Camp Tourney
8:00 PM                           Commuter's Dismissed

7:50 AM - 8:30 AM          Breakfast (Resident Campers Only)
9:00 AM - 11:30 AM        Session 4 - Camp Tourney
11:30 AM - 1:00 PM        Lunch – (Everyone will receive lunch- pizza party)
1:00 PM - 3:30 PM          Session 5 - Camp Tourney
3:30 PM                           Camp ends (residents check out of dorms before 4pm, commuters depart at 3:30pm)
