Time To Tumble: Beginning - Intermediate Tumbling

Jessica Murray is a Certified Acrobatics Teacher and has been teaching dance and tumbling for the past 14 years. She believes in safety first but wants her students to have a good time while they are learning. Acro/Dance Tumbling is different from other programs as it is designed to teach students how to safely perform skills and tricks eventually without the use of any mats or training aids. Time to Tumble is a great opportunity for boys and girls, ages 4+, to try out tumbling. Students should wear tight fitting clothing. (Parents are permitted to watch only the 1st class and then students must be okay to be left without an adult.)

Beginning-Intermediate Tumbling

This class will be for students with minimal to no experience. Class will feature an introduction to balancing, strength, flexibility, and coordination. Skills will begin with: stretching, splits, bridging, as well as additional balancing skills. From there the class will progress into floor skills: forward and backward rolls, headstands, handstands, cartwheels, and limbers. The class will continue progressing with the students towards additional skills such as: walkovers, front handsprings, and more.
