Forest Hills Eastern High School Sports Camps

Football Youth Camp

Coach Joe Schwander, the Eastern Coaching Staff and the 2019 Eastern Varsity Football Team invite all upcoming 3rd, 4th, 5th , and 6th graders to two days of NON-Contact, FUNdamental drill work that is associated with playing football in a safe and successful manner. Camp will emphasize proper mechanics that will allow our future Hawk football players to be safe and to maximize their given ability.

Pulling Technique,
Blocking and Tackling,
Passing Mechanics,
Receiving Mechanics,
Ball Handling Mechanics,
Long Snapping Mechanics,
Place Kicking Mechanics,
Punting Mechanics

Drills to emphasize:

Ball Security,
Ball Recovery,
Scoop and Score,
Blocking Punts,
Intercepting Technique,
Ball Reaction,
Running Proper Pass Routes
Proper Position Footwork

Participants will enjoy 7 on 7 activities along with various skill competitions that include longest throw, longest punt and kick, and fastest man in camp. Parents are welcome to bring along their cameras, video cameras, and lawn chairs daily.
