2019 Rapid City Camps
Skills & Advanced Infield / Outfield Camps: Teach and enhance fundamental skills. Emphasis on developing correct mechanics for throwing, fielding, hitting, base running, sliding, and defensive play. Skills developed through individual and group drills and play. Advance IF/OF will incorporate advanced skills and techniques used by the Augie defense to create outs. Individual and group drills will be run similar to a regular Augustana softball practice session.
Hitting Clinics: Focus on mechanics, good form, and swing speed. One-on-one instruction, tee drills, and vision training drills.
Advanced Hitting Camps (Limit 30 Athletes): Focus on mechanics, good form, and swing speed. Video Analysis of your swing. One-on-one feedback of Video Analysis.
Advanced Pitching Camps (Limit 18 Athletes): Advanced technique and form. Instruction and critique in throwing the drop, rise, drop curve, and change-up. Video analysis of pitching.
Pitching Camps: Mechanics, practice drills, training instruction and continuous one-on-one feedback
Camp Facilities: All camp sessions take place at Parkview Softball Complex in Rapid City, SD.

Equipment Needed: Camp attendees should bring a glove, softball cleats, tennis shoes, bat, and helmet. Players may also want to bring sunblock, a snack, and a water bottle. All pitchers must provide their own catcher.
Insurance & Medical Care: The softball camps will NOT be responsible for any medical or other charges in connection with a camper’s attendance. Each camper’s parent or legal guardian will be required to authorize a medical release form that releases the camp, and its directors and employees from ALL liability for injuries, accident and/or illness incurred while at camp. All campers are encouraged to have a physical examination under the care of their family physician prior to attending camp.
Refunds: No refunds will be given except for inclement weather. Physical injury during the camp will be the only reason to receive a pro-rated refund.
