Youth Skills Camp

July 15th - 17th
Entering Grades: 2nd - 8th
Age groups will be separate at camp
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Cost: $100/Camper | $90 Sibling Discount (Each Sibling)

Location: Fisher Field at Baldwin Wallace University (RAIN or SHINE)

The three day camp is designed to enhance the overall development of youth baseball players of any skill level. Campers will learn fundamental techniques, approaches, and drills from college coaches and players in a fun, energetic atmosphere. Then, they will be able to put what they learn into action during live game play!!

The typical day will look as follows:

  • Intro & Warm Up
  • Small-group drill stations
  • Snack / Water Break
  • Team Competitions
  • Simulated Games


  • Baseball hat, baseball pants, cup, baseball spikes
  • Equipment: Glove, bat, helmet, catchers gear, etc.
  • Water bottle & snack (granola bars, banana, etc.)


  • Infield & Outfield Defense

    • Fielding technique, footwork, glovework, double plays, throwing, cut-offs & relays, positional responsibilities, etc.

  • Hitting/Bunting/Baserunning

    • Swing mechanics, bat speed, mental approach, lead-offs, stealing bases, etc.

  • Pitching & Catching

    • Building arm strength & health, delivery mechanics, throwing strikes, pitch development, catching mechanics, etc.

  • Speed & Agility
