2019 Fall Instructional Showcase Camp

This instructional camp will focus on individual player development with position specific instruction and games from the Oglethorpe Baseball coaching staff. Position Players will be timed in the 60, evaluated in defensive and offensive skills. Pitchers will go through a typical collegiate throwing and training session including flat grounds, band work and prep work. All players will also get instruction on speed development, nutrition and baseball specific weight training from a certified strength coach. The goal of this camp is to put each player through college style training session and instruct the game of baseball at the same intensity and pace of a collegiate practice.

Location: Anderson Field on the campus of Oglethorpe University

Lunch: Players will be responsible for their own lunch on Saturday.

Camp Schedule: Players will report on Saturday at 8:30am to Anderson Field for registration. The showcase will begin 9:00am with dynamic stretching, running form instruction and timed 60’s. Each player will get specific positional and hitting instruction followed by a Pro-Style Showcase. After lunch there will be scrimmage games against live pitching. We anticipate the day to end around 6:00pm.
