Fall League

DMACC Fall League is an excellent opportunity for your team to compete against some of the best talent in the area and gain exposure to college coaches. League is 4 weeks of play (off September 2nd), and consists of 3 weeks of regular season play and 1 week of playoffs. Teams are guaranteed 2 games per week. DMACC provides balls, team is responsible to provide jerseys.

Game Rules:

• 20 Minute halves. Continuous clock. Clock stops last minute of each half
• We will be playing by 2 point baskets only
• Fouls on the ground award the offensive team 1 point and they retain possession of the basketball
• There will be no over and back violations
• Shooting fouls are worth 2 points with and-1’s being worth 3 points
• Free throws will only be attempted during the last 2 minutes of the game and during overtimes. During this period, shots in the act of shooting are worth 2 shots, and all fouls on the ground result in 1-and-1
• Offensive fouls will result in a change of possession and no points
• Technical fouls will result in 2 free throws for the opponent and possession of the basketball
• In the event of a tie, there will be a 2 minute overtime with the clock stopping on dead balls. OT will start with a jump ball
• 1 additional time-out during the overtime session (no carry over)
