Event Description
NSU Baseball Camps
2019 HIGH SCHOOL FALL Camp
Players will receive the opportunity to learn from and be evaluated by the Norfolk State University coaching staff and other area coaches. Players will receive hours of instruction, drills and one-on-one development from the camp. Position player instructional segments will cover all aspects of the game; players will receive hitting, defensive and base running skill instruction. Pitchers will receive coaching that covers pitching mechanics, defensive techniques and arm care/strength.
The camp will also feature team games that will allow players to showcase their individual abilities in a game atmosphere for coaches and scouts to evaluate each player on an individual basis. Players will receive valuable knowledge about the college recruiting process, along with other information pertaining to becoming and succeeding as a collegiate player.

Note: During camp we will allow campers to have a 90 minute lunch break. They will be allowed to leave and return for the remainder of the camp.
Equipment
Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, batting helmet, cleats, turf or running shoes, hat and any other equipment needed to participate. All campers should wear baseball pants.
Norfolk State Baseball Camps
The purpose of Norfolk State Baseball Camps is to help individuals maximize their ability as a complete baseball player. To do this a player must have the desire to work and master their skills through repetition, but they must first learn the proper techniques and mechanics. It is our goal to create organized, energetic, and fun learning environment to provide the best possible instruction in all aspects of the game. All of our camps offers an in depth look inside the Norfolk State University Baseball program, coaches, and the physical and mental skills taught to its players.
