These swimming classes are for young children ages 9 months to 4 years, of all abilities accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children gain an initial positive water experience, learn safety skills in and around water, and just have fun. Classes are 30 minutes long and sessions are held Monday, Thursday and Friday.

Each session costs $40. The 30-minute classes are held in the therapeutic pool in Marshfield Clinic Health System Champions Hall (formerly Health Enhancement Center), located adjacent to the Quandt Fieldhouse on Fourth Ave. All are led by a trained water safety instructors who are students at UW-Stevens Point.

Monday or Thursday: 5:30-6:00pm and 6:10-6:40pm 

Friday: 9:00-9:30am 

Dates for kids fall are Oct 28 - Dec 20, 2019

Preschool (3-4 years old)

Classes at 6:10 pm - 6:40pm on Monday or Thursday.  

Preschoolers and parents will experience independent propulsive swimming movements, participate in advanced water adjustment activities, learn water safety skills and practice combined skills for basic swimming strokes in preparation for Level 1 Swimming Progression.
