Young gymnasts will spend time on 7 different stations with current Golden Gopher Staff, alumni and local coaches while also learning a group routine to be performed at the conclusion of the Golden Gopher Intrasquad. The campers will need to bring their own lunch, but will be provided a snack and pizza for dinner along with a camp leotard. The camp check-in and instruction will take place at Peik gym while dinner and their performance will take place at Maturi Pavilion. Our camp is open to any and all entrants that meet the following criteria: 

• This is a girls gymnastics camp only. 
• Ages 6 to 12
• Previous gymnastics experience is recommended but not required

Schedule:

• 10:00am Check In @ Peik Gymnasium (157 Pillsbury Dr. SE Minneapolis, MN, 55455 – Parking available in 4th Street or Church Street Garage)
• 10:30-11:00 Warm Up, Stretch, & Divide Into Groups
• 11:00-12:30 Three 30-Minute Rotations
• 12:30-1:15 Lunch (Must Provide Your Own) - Q & A, Autographs, and  Photos with 2019-20 Gopher Team
• 1:15-3:15 Four 30-Minute Rotations
• 3:15-4:00 Practice Dance at Peik
• 4:00-5:15 Walk to Sports Pavilion and Practice Dance
• 5:15-6:15 Pizza Party
• 6:30-8:00 Golden Gophers Intrasquad Meet
• 8:00 Dance Performance and Autographs

What to Bring: All campers should bring a leotard, shorts and t-shirt along with any personal gymnastics equipment (grips, wrist guards & tape) as well as a water bottle. Each camper will also bring their own lunch. In addition, winter jackets, pants, hats and gloves and possibly winter boots since we will be walking from Peik Gymnasium to Maturi Sports Pavilion.
