2019 WINTER BREAK BASKETBALL CAMPS
Celebrate the Holidays…Hoops Style! Super Skills will host 2 great basketball camps this winter for boys and girls 5 - 14. These sessions are a can’t miss for young players that want to improve their skills and learn to play the game the correct way. Participants take part in detailed station work that emphasize proper fundamental technique of each skill. Participants will be grouped according to age and ability and also participate in a smorgasborg of games and competitions during the week, including: 1 on 1, 3 on 3, 4 on 4, 5 on 5, the numbers game, knockout, simon says, skill relays, hot shot, NBA 2-Ball, and much more.
Camps are held on Monday and Tuesday during each week listed on the right. The lunch hour (12-1pm) is a restful time, where campers spend the hour visiting with each other. Each session places a tremendous emphasis on ‘life skills’ and character building, covering such topics as listening skills, following directions, being responsible, having a strong work ethic, the importance of exercise, and much more. Special discounts are available for multiple kids from the same family.

Easy Drop Off and Pick Up:
Drop-Off Details: All parents should plan on coming into the gym on the first day of the program to register with your child. Participants can arrive 30 minutes prior to their scheduled session.
Pick Up Details: All parents are certainly welcome to stay and watch any of our Super Skills programs. The Courts also has a small café section that operates as a nice place to get some work done. If you are not planning on staying, please plan to pick them up promptly after the session.
Schedule/What to Expect: As I’m sure you are aware, our goal is to be a ‘Best in Class’ program. Each session is designed to help participants develop a love for the game, learn detailed fundamentals, and motivate and encourage them to develop strong morals, values, and work ethic. We believe strongly that a player can learn a lot more at a camp then just how to play sports.
What to Bring/Wear/Eat, Drink: Each player should bring appropriate clothing and shoes to work-out and play sports in. Shoes appropriate for a basketball court are strongly advised. If you are attending a 1-3 hour program, please also send them with a small snack and something to drink. If your child is attending an All-Day program, please also send them with a healthy lunch. Players will simply store their things in the bleachers in the gymnasium.
