2019 Purple & Gold 45th Annual Men’s Basketball Tournament

The Purple & Gold Club will once again be sponsoring the 45th Annual 2019 Men’s Basketball Tournament at the Karl H. Weaner Community Center on the campus of Defiance College on November 15 and 16, 2019.  (Note:  This year’s tournament will be a Tip-Off Tournament rather than a Holiday Tournament.)

We appreciate your enthusiasm for Defiance College Athletics and are requesting your support as a “Patron” for the tournament. For $25, your name(s) will appear in the tournament program. These sponsorship donations, along with all the other tournament proceeds, will be used to help defray the costs associated with the tournament and the annual Swarm Awards which honors the outstanding academic and athletic accomplishments of those student-athletes who participated during the 2019-2020 academic year.

***Please note, registration for Patron Ad of $25 must be received by November 5th, 2019 in order to give the printer time to have all the names listed in the program.***

We sincerely appreciate your continued support of the Defiance College athletic programs and hope that you will consider being a member of the Patron’s Page of the 45th Annual Purple & Gold Men’s Basketball Tournament.  Please return the enclosed form, by November 1, 2019, to ensure that you will be included in the tournament program.  

In addition, you can pre-order tournament passes at a reduced cost.  The passes (good for both days) may be purchased in advance for $12/adult and $10/students. Ticket costs at the door will be $8/adults and $6/students per night.  Pre-order tickets will not be mailed and can be picked up at the door on game day.
