'No Throw' Arm Strengthening Clinic
Event Description
SMC BASEBALL CAMPS | "No Throw" Arm Strengthening Clinic
|
Gaels Director of Player Development and former pitcher in the Cleveland Indians organization, Josh Nashed, takes players through a specialized arm care program that promotes overall arm health by emphasizing strength, stability, and mobility in the throwing arm. Players participate in pro-style arm care circuits that target the shoulders, scaps, forearms, and more. Each player leaves equipped with a strong understanding of what a high level arm strengthening/maintenance program looks like. A proper arm care and strengthening program maximizes each athlete’s ability to reach peak performance while simultaneously decreasing risk of injury throughout the season. Both pitchers and position players are highly encouraged to attend!
Please Note: There will be no sessions during NCAA Dead period Nov. 11-15th, or during the week of Thanksgiving. There will be 10 total sessions during the 5 week clinic.
What To Bring: Athletic clothing (sweatshirts/sweatpants on colder evenings)
All Saint Mary’s Athletic camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
