Eagles' Winter Camp
EAGLES' WINTER CAMP
Each clinic is designed to help enhance your skills to continue to help build you into a complete softball athlete. The limited numbers at camp help to ensure that campers are getting more instruction and repetitions throughout each session. Since spots are limited, camp is expected to fill up quickly. Included will be take home drills, free water bottle, wrist band, and a Q&A 30 minute session for athletes and family members. Attend one, two, or all three!
Session 1: 9:00-11:30 DEFENSIVE PROSPECT CAMP (Held in the Eagle Center)
- Camp will cover defensive instruction in a fast-paced and elite learning environment. The athletes will be trained with some of the same drills and techniques used to train our student-athletes. Each drill will be taught by your current Morehead State Softball Coaches and Athletes.
Session 2: 12:00-2:00 PITCHING/CATCHING PROSPECT CAMP (Held in the Eagle Center)
- The first half of the session will focus on separate skill instruction for pitchers and catchers. Pitchers will then throw to catchers during the second portion, and instruction will be geared toward the dynamic of the pitcher/catcher relationship. Pitchers attending will need to bring a catcher who is not attending the catching camp.
Session 3: 2:30-5:00 OFFENSIVE PROSPECT CAMP (Held in the Eagle Center)
- In this session, hitters will be taught advanced skills and techniques that will allow them to perform at an optimal level. An emphasis will be put on drills that will help to develop power (or slapping), consistency, and offense strategies to advance in-box production.
