Setter Clinic Series: The setting clinic is a series of 4 dates to focus on the complex skill of setting. Topics range from form and positioning, to placement and transitioning from defense and blocking into setting.
Attacking Clinic: The attacking clinic is for all hitters! You will work on footwork, arm swing, and hitting a variety of sets. Hitters will be broken into specific positions (middles, outsides, right-sides).
Serving Clinic: The serving clinic will focus on the basic skills needed to serve. This includes footwork, positioning, and serving zones.
Passing & Defense Clinic: This clinic will help develop basic passing (serve receive) and defensive skills. This is NOT a clinic for defensive specialists only. Any player who wishes to improve these skills is welcome.
Blocking Clinic: The blocking clinic will focus on footwork and form.
Defense Clinic: The defensive clinic is geared for those who are liberos and defensive specialists. We will focus on footwork, movement and platform.
Youth Clinics: Youth clinics are for K-4th and will focus on basic skills and the fundamentals of volleyball.
Concussion Information: I understand that if my child is diagnosed with a concussion or concussion like symptoms at a Winona State University Athletic Camp, they will no longer be allowed to participate at camp. As a parent/legal guardian I must make arrangements to remove the child from camp as soon as I have been notified of my child’s condition.
