The Winter Pitcher-Catcher Camp is a 1-day camp designed for detailed instruction by the Lindenwood University coaching staff, emphasizing the importance of mental and physical preparation for the Division II pitcher and catcher. This camp is designed to both be evaluated by the Lindenwood coaching staff, as well as give players an inside look as to how we develop pitchers and catchers. Players will tour the entire baseball facility, including the Lindenwood home locker room, weight room, dining facility, and indoor batting/bullpens.

Attendees will throw bullpens, receive instruction, and practice at Lou Brock Sports Complex (weather permitting). Pitchers will practice the exact formula Lindenwood Pitchers use on a daily basis. Every facet of pitching will be touched on, including an activation routine, the mental game, opposing scouting reports, long toss, bullpen routine, and recovery. The catchers who attend camp will focus on blocking, receiving, throwing, the mental game, and catching bullpens. Catchers will also receive instruction on stretching routines and a lifting program.

Current players will mentor campers in addition to answering questions about playing college baseball including time demands and the balance with academics, physical health, etc.

Only 20 pitchers and 10 catchers are permitted in each camp (30 total) providing extensive evaluation and enhanced attention on each player. Each athlete will be provided a camp shirt. We will not be serving lunch.

LOCATION: Lou Brock Sports Complex & the Evans Commons Center
