Pure Speed & Power Overnight Swim Camp | August
Calling all Highschool and Club swimmers! Do you want to experience what it would be like to swim at an NCAA collegiate level? Pure Speed & Power Camp is a three-day, overnight program that is specifically made for sprinters trying to take it to the next level. Our program is designed to give you a taste of what it really takes to swim in college.
At this sprint-based camp swimmers will work directly with the head coach of Roger Williams University, Matt Emmert; an expert on cultivating power, speed, and explosiveness in the water. Swimmers will have the opportunity to focus on enhancing their sprinting abilities through the use of equipment and applied technique. In order to maximize performance, swimmers will be using resistance equipment such as power towers, stretch cordz, and Parachutes. The combination of modern resistance training approaches and individualized focus on technique will help bring your sprint game to the next level.
In addition to swimming, campers will have the opportunity to stay in the beautiful waterfront dorms of Roger Williams University, as well as eat in the nationally ranked dining hall. Swimmers will not only learn and apply new techniques they will overall learn to work with the water rather than against it. Pure Speed & Power Camp is committed to providing a fun and safe environment for swimmers to thrive and get the best competitive and collegiate experience as possible.
