In conjunction with National Girls & Women in Sports day, York College would like to offer an opportunity for young females in our community to spend an afternoon with us participating in sports in a fun, inclusive, encouraging and uplifting environment. The event will be an opportunity for participants to try out multiple different sports and interact with current college players, coaches, and members of our campus recreation programs!

Stations will be set up in the indoor field house, with athletes and coaches running the stations that pertain to their sport. Participants will spend time at each station before rotating to the next. The goal is to expose the participants to as many York College athletes, coaches, and sports as possible!    

No experience and no equipment is necessary to participate!  We welcome all skill levels and will provide all the equipment necessary to participate. Wear comfortable athletic clothing, sneakers, and your smile!  

The York men's and women's basketball teams also have home games that day.  The women play at 2:00pm and as a part of your registration to this event, participants and parents will receive complimentary tickets to the game!  We encourage you to arrive early to watch the women's team play before our event begins. Afterwards, we hope you'll catch the end of the men's game as our events wraps up at 5:30pm (no tickets needed)!
