The 2014-15 season produced a 27-6 record and the school’s only Sooner Athletic Conference Championship in the history of the program.  During the 2016-17 season, while serving as the Associate Head Coach at Texas Wesleyan University, Garnett helped the Rams win the 2017 NAIA National Championship.

Garnett also serves as the director of Hoops for Him, which is a non-profit seeking to train and equip current collegiate student-athletes to become leaders within their teams and on their campuses.

“Garnett is known for his specific and detailed approach to teaching the game of basketball. Using practical methods, he equips players with the skills needed to take their game to the next level," Ron Holmes - McMurry University.

Garnett was an All-American guard at Wayland Baptist University and Biola University.  A graduate of Glen Rose High School , he was a two-time AllState guard and led the state of Texas in both 3pt Shooting percentage and FT shooting percentage his junior and senior seasons.
