Theatre Arts Camp
|Due to the uncertainty created by the COVID-19 virus we have established a way for you to reserve a spot in camp without any upfront financial commitment. Simply join our FREE Wait List. When camp is confirmed to take place, you will receive an email from us giving you the ability to pay the camp dues. If at the time you still wish to attend camp, you can pay securely online. If your circumstances change and you no longer wish to attend camp, simply let us know. You won’t owe us anything.|
Students will learn about the fundamentals of theatre arts while working together to perform Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR. after two weeks of rehearsals.
June 15th - 19th &
June 22nd - 26th, 2020
Performance June 27th at 1:00 p.m.
Entering Grades: 3rd - 8th
Time: 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Cannot guarantee t-shirt for registrants less than 2 weeks prior to camp start date.
There will be an additional $5 charge for walk ups.
The Longhorn Theater Arts Camp includes:
- Daily devotions led by Lutheran West students and staff
- Small group and individual instruction from Lutheran West theatre faculty, students, and alumni in all performing and technical theatre areas: acting, singing, choreography, set building, properties, costumes, lights, sound, hair/make-up
- 10 rehearsals culminating in a performance of Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr. on Saturday, June 27th
- All rehearsal and performance needs are included: scripts, rehearsal tracks, basic costume elements, props, set
- A camp t-shirt
Camp pre-registration is recommended. Walk-up registrations will not be accepted if camp is full.
