Event Description

Due to the uncertainty created by the COVID-19 virus we have established a way for you to reserve a spot in camp without any upfront financial commitment. Simply join our FREE Wait List. When camp is confirmed to take place, you will receive an email from us giving you the ability to pay the camp dues. If at the time you still wish to attend camp, you can pay securely online. If your circumstances change and you no longer wish to attend camp, simply let us know. You won’t owe us anything.

Elite Training Camp


The KSU Volleyball Elite Training Camp is open to players entering grades 9th - Up To Age 22, Varsity level and/or national level club experience recommended. Campers will strengthen their fundamentals, develop proper mechanics, and gain valuable game-play experience. All meals are included for resident campers, and lunch and dinner will be provided for commuter campers. First meal will be dinner on the first night of camp.

Gaurantee: 7 sessions (tournament on last day), camp T-shirts, team store, meals for residents, chaperones at dorms, interaction with Kent State players and staff

Camp fee will include admission to a home match “camp night”

Guarantee: 7 sessions (tournament on last day), camp T-shirts, team store, meals for residents, chaperones at dorms, interaction with Kent State players and staff.

Camp Location: Camps will be held in the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center (MACC) (1025 Risman Dr, Kent, OH 44242) and the MACC Annex located on the campus of Kent State University. Campers will be housed in Lake Hall on the Kent State University Campus. Check-in and Registration will be at Lake Hall (500 Williams Drive, Kent, Ohio 44243).

Medical Forms: Each camper must bring with them the completed KSU Medical Form to registration. To download the required form, click here.

Supervision: Campers will be supervised by the coaching staff at all times.

Room assignments: Every attempt will be made to assign requested roommates. The best way to guarantee your roommate is to list each other under roommate preference.

What to bring: Bedding (resident only), T-shirts, shorts, knee pads, court shoes, spending money for the camp store.

Camp store will have the following:
Snacks, pop, pizza and KSU Volleyball gear.

Meals: All meals are included for resident campers, and lunch and dinner will be provided for commuter campers. First meal will be dinner on the first night of camp.

First Aid Providers: There will be a first aid provider on duty at all camp sessions.

Insurance: Primary coverage is the responsibility of each camper and her parents)/guardians). KSU has purchased secondary insurance for each participant that will cover over and above the participant’s primary coverage.

Airport Transportation:  Ride will be provided when needed to and from airport.

Cancellation / Refund: Your camp fee, less a $50.00 non-refundable administrative fee, will be refunded without question if you cancel AT LEAST 2 WEEKS PRIOR to the beginning of camp. At any time after that date, a refund less a $50.00 administrative fee will be made for medical reasons only and must be accompanied by a signed medical statement from your physician. All medical refund requests must be made within 30 days of the end of camp. If no request for cancellation is made within 30 days, no refund will be given, including no-shows.
