GIRLS ONLY CAMP
Girls’ wrestling is starting to emerge in Iowa, with some discussion of it eventually being sanctioned. Ankeny Hawk Wrestling wants to be a leader in girls wrestling and we will start by offering this beginner camp for girls! This camp will include the basics of wrestling, with technique covering the neutral position, top referees position, and the bottom referees position. We will use a mixture of technique, wrestling games and live wrestling to give the girls an overview of wrestling. Camp will be cancelled if there is not more than one girl registered. With two or more registrations, camp will take place.
