Easter Holiday Skills/Shooting Academy

Event Description


Day 1: The fundamentals of shooting form, shooting off the pass, shooting off the dribble, shot path, hand placement on the ball, as well as proper layup technique. Lots of fun and exciting shooting games will be played throughout the day as well.

Day 2: Individual skill enhancement and team play in the afternoon. From 8:30 am-noon players will be taught proper techniques for ballhandling, passing, rebounding, spacing, ball control, pass fake, pivoting, basic man to man defensive principals, and other basketball fundamentals which will be incorporated into the afternoon team play session from 1:00-4:30.

Campers will be divided into groups according to age and separated into two gyms.

April 16th - 17th, 2020
Ages: 5 - 15, Boys and Girls
Time: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Coaches will be on-site at 7 a.m. for early morning drop-off. Coaches will be on hand until 6:00 p.m. for late afternoon pick-up.
Cost: $80
$10 additional for early morning drop-off and/or late afternoon pick-up
Lunch will be sold each day for $5.00. Parents can pay by the day or in one lump sum the morning of registration.
The Strojny Easter Holiday Shooting Academy has been postponed.

Strojny Basketball Shooting Academy:

Strojny Basketball Shooting Academy is designed to focus on the fundamentals of shooting mechanics, shooting off the pass, shooting off the dribble, body control, and key drills necessary to becoming a consistent shooter at any level.

What to Bring:

  • Athletic shoes
  • No sandals or hard bottom shoes
  • Athletic shorts and top
  • Campers must wear socks
  • Money for snacks
  • No water bottles allowed
  • Snacks will be sold everyday during break and at the end of camp.
