Prospect Camps

The Rutgers University Baseball coaching staff is offering a one-day Prospect Camp at Bainton Field, the home of Scarlet Knights baseball. The camp is designed for players who are interested in improving their skills and playing college baseball. The camp provides professional, all around skill instruction as well as game play for players to showcase their abilities directly to the Rutgers University baseball coaching staff and other local colleges. Throughout the course of the camp day, players will experience the benefits of Rutgers Baseball analytic equipment and software such as Rapsodo.

The Summer Prospect Camp is focused on improving the specific tools and skills that we as coaches are looking for at the Division 1 level.
 

Players should wear proper baseball attire (baseball pants, shirt, belt and hat). Players will need a glove, bat and baseball spikes or turf shoes as Bainton Field is a field turf playing surface. Catchers should bring their own equipment. Players are responsible for bringing their own lunch.

Rutgers Baseball and Rutgers University are continuing to monitor COVID-19 developments. The health and safety of campers and our staff is our primary focus. Our summer 2020 camps are currently scheduled to proceed as planned. If it is determined that our camps should be canceled, we will issue campers a full refund within 48 hours of cancelation (minus Ryzer card processing/convenience fees).

As an added safeguard our event offers Allianz Registration Protection insurance. For an additional fee, this insurance refunds your full registration fee if camp is held but you cannot attend or must leave early due to a covered injury or illness which includes COVID-19. This camp is open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.) Enrollment numbers will be limited.
