2020 Future Leaders Residential Academy

The Future Leaders Residential Academy is designed to provide an environment for select level players to develop as players, young women, and leaders. This three day, two evening program will combine field sessions along with classroom workshops to discuss self-awareness, communication, confidence, and leadership.

This academy is best suited for players that have a passion for soccer, want to improve their technical skills and decision making in game situations, and are open to learning more about themselves as athletes, teammates, and young women.

Our staff will include coaches and players of the Drake Women’s Soccer team.

Lindsey Horner: Drake Women’s Head Coach, USSF ‘A’ license and NSCAA Premier.

Kevin Brennan: Drake Women’s Assistant Coach, USSF ‘B’ license and NSCAA Premier.

“This is a pivotal age in the development of young soccer players and this camp will aid in their growth both on and off the field.  The workshop sessions focus on developing confidence, problem-solving, and leadership while the field sessions allow them to put these skills into practice during games.”

Our curriculum is new each summer to be a good experience for both first time and returning campers. Campers are housed in a modern dormitory on campus, and all meals are provided.  Campers will receive three training shirts and a long sleeve training top.
