This Cross Country Camp is led by the Ankeny Centennial Cross Country Coaching Staff. The 8th Grade Camp is Open to ANY & ALL Boys Enrolled in the Ankeny Community Schools. The 9th-12th Grade Camp is Open to ANY and ALL Boys Enrolled in Ankeny Centennial HS. |
CHAMPIONS ARE MADE IN THE SUMMER
Jaguar Head Varsity Boys Cross Country Coach, Chad Fickbohm, and assistant coaches for grades 8-12 offer a summer training camp to prepare Champions for the 2020 boys cross country season. Runners at camp will work together to learn the routines, routes, and training systems that will build champions for the varsity, junior varsity and 8th grade fall cross country seasons.
On Wednesdays we will drive from Hawkeye Park to Saylorville, Big Creek, Sycamore, Heritage Park or other area parks for trail running in nature.
This camp offers the opportunity to get to know all Jaguar teammates grades 8-12. All participants will receive a Jaguar team t-shirt. This camp begins the critical summer training-build phase leading up to the first varsity race in late August and the first 8th grade race in early September. Summer running is the first half of the cross country season!
