Event Description

Due to the uncertainty created by the COVID-19 virus we have established a way for you to reserve a spot in camp without any upfront financial commitment. Simply join our FREE Wait List. When camp is confirmed to take place, you will receive an email from us giving you the ability to pay the camp dues. If at the time you still wish to attend camp, you can pay securely online. If your circumstances change and you no longer wish to attend camp, simply let us know. You won’t owe us anything.

Intermediate Skills Camp

This camp is designed to teach players the latest volleyball skills and techniques. The camp’s goal is to meet the needs of each individual camper. Players will be exposed to extensive coverage of the basic skills, drills, tactics, and offensive and defensive play.

July 20th - 22nd, 2020
Grades: 7th - 10th
Time: 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Camper Fee: $85

Location: The camps will be at Hodges Fieldhouse on the Iowa Central Community College Campus located at One Triton Circle, Fort Dodge, Iowa.

  • The camp staff will be comprised of current Iowa Central coaches and players.
  • Registration will begin 30 minutes prior to the start of the first day of each camp.
  • Each camper will receive a camp ball.
  • Players should bring volleyball attire, shoes, kneepads, water bottle, and a positive attitude!

Iowa Central Volleyball Head Coach

Sara Horn is entering her 8th season as the head coach at Iowa Central Community College.  In 2019, the Tritons won their second straight ICCAC Conference title, were Region XI Runners-Up, and ended the season ranked #12 Nationally. They finished with a 33-6 record. Horn is a 2004 graduate of the University of Nebraska, where she was a three year letter winner for the Huskers. While at Nebraska, Horn earned First-Team Academic All-Big 12 honors in 2002 and 2003 and was a Second Team Academic All-Big 12 selection in 2001. She helped lead Nebraska to Big 12 championships in 2000, 2001, and 2002, NCAA Final Four appearances in 2000 and 2001, and was part of the 2000 undefeated National Championship team. As a senior, Horn ranked third in the Big 12 with an average of 1.26 blocks per game and was fifth in the league with a .317 hitting percentage.

Gabby Sullivan
Iowa Central Volleyball Assistant Coach

Gabby Sullivan is entering her 1st season with the Triton Volleyball coaching staff. She was previously the assistant coach at WakefieldAllen High school in Nebraska. Sullivan started her college volleyball journey here at ICCC where she led the Tritons to the NJCAA Division II National Tournament while posting some of the top hitting statistics in the nation. She was named AVCA First Team All-American in 2017, becoming the first Triton player to ever receive First Team AVCA All-American honors. She holds single season school records for kills per set and attacks along with 43 kills in a single match. Sullivan averaged 3.62 kills and 1.87 digs per set while winning 59 matches during her 2 years at ICCC. She then transferred to Wayne State College in Nebraska where she played one season with the Wildcats.
