2020 Miner Volleyball Camps

Advanced Specialty Camp
Advanced Specialty Camp is for 8–12 grade and college girls with varsity, high level club or collegiate experience. This will be a higher level camp than the General All-Skills camp and is designed for the advanced player who wants to progress to the next level. This camp will provide specific instruction and drills for technical development of all volleyball skills. Campers are instructed by specific positions: outside and right side hitters, middle hitters, setters and libero/defensive specialists finishing with team play and development.

Location & Facilities
Gale Bullman Building & Student Recreation Center on the beautiful campus of the Missouri S&T. Athletic training facilities are available during the camp and an athletic trainer will be on site at all times during sessions.

Camper Information and Meals
Resident campers (Advanced Specialty Camp only) will be housed in campus residence halls and served nutritious meals in a S&T dining center. Commuter campers may purchase lunch & dinner tickets during camp or bring their own meals and eat with resident campers. A limited number of residential rooms are available so please register early. Experienced counselors and camp coaches are on duty on a full-time basis both in the residence halls and in the gym. Excellent medical attention is also available nearby. We will do our best to accommodate all roommate requests, however there are no guarantees that they will be able to be awarded. There will only be two campers per room.

Schedule
Check in for camp is from 10:30am-11:30am on July 6th at Thomas Jefferson Hall for residential campers and from  1-2pm on July 6th at Gibson Arena for commuter campers. Camp will conclude at 3:30pm on the 10th, where all campers can be picked up from Gibson Arena inside the Gale Bullman Building.

Daily practice times are:

2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Day 1
9-11 am, 1-3pm, and 6-8pm on Day 2
9:30-11:30 am and 1:30-3:30 pm on Day 3.

There will also be a campus tour on Day 3 at 11am. Parents may attend if they wish.

Volleyballs & Miner Merchandise
All campers will receive a camp T-shirt for participation in camp. Additional Missouri S&T Miner Volleyball merchandise, as well as drinks and snacks, will also be available at the camp store.
