Event Description

Strength & Conditioning Camp | Junior High


June 15th - July 30th

Boys & Girls Entering Grades: 7th - 8th

Cost: $100 for all Weeks or $20 per Week
(Payment plan available upon request)

Schedule:

10:30am -11:00am - Pre-Screening/Temperature Check

11:00am -12:15pm  - Strength & Conditioning

Sports Specific Skills (see below) - beginning June 15th.

Current or last school year's physical form must be on file to participate.

 
Sport Specific Skills Days
Monday's: 

Boys Basketball - 12:15pm to 1:15pm (After S&C)

Softball – 9:45am-10:45am (Before S&C)

Tuesday's: 

Girls Basketball - 9:30am-10:30 am (Before S&C)

Baseball - 12:15pm -1:00pm (After S&C)

 

Wednesday's:

Volleyball - 9:30am-10:30am (Before S&C)

Thursday's:

Football - 12:15pm - 1:15pm (After S&C)

These weeks are designed to help athletes prevent injury and maximize athletic and mental skill. Activities will focus on weight training, flexibility, agility and speed, as well as, character development and motivational instruction. The camp is open to all male & female athletes attending RISD.

Campers are encouraged to wear modest workout attire and closed‐toe athletic shoes. Cleats are optional for outside. Water will be provided, but campers are welcome to bring their own water bottles that may be re‐filled throughout the morning.

Week 7 | July 27th - July 30th

  • Monday - Thursday: at JJP
  • Friday: Virutal

What to Wear: Modest workout attire, athletic shoes appropriate for weight room, cleats for outside exercise (optional).  Water provided.
