Ball Skills Camp

Serve Receive - Serving - Digging

July 20th - 23rd, 2020
Girls Entering Grades: 6th - 8th
Time: 1:30pm - 4:30pm
Cost: $150
This camp is limited to 32 total players (OH/DS/L)

Camp Features:

This camp is designed for liberos/DS and OH’s that want to work on and improve their first contact ball skills. This camp is for serious players who have had some club/playing experience and are serious about volleyball. Players at this camp will work on their serving, serve receive and digging skills. This camp is for players that want to be varsity level players in the future and have hopes of some day playing in college.      

Camp Directors:

The camp will be run by varsity volleyball coach Brad Baker, current Benet volleyball staff members and also current and past Benet volleyball players. Coach Baker has been named the 2015 and 2020 National HS Coach of the year.

In the past 13 years Benet has had OH/Liberos go on to play college at Illinois (3), UC Davis, Notre Dame, Washington and Lee, American, Washington University (2), Bradley, Gonzaga, Missouri State, Wisconsin (2), Minnesota, Boston College (2), Stonehill, St. Thomas, Wake Forest, Princeton (2), Michigan State, University of Chicago, Rollins, Marquette, North Carolina, Cornell (2), Dayton (2), Duquesne, George Mason, Mississippi, Kansas, Yale, West Point, and Clemson.  

The current Benet volleyball staff has been together for 13 seasons and during that time the program has averaged over 36 wins per season. The varsity team has won 31 tournament titles, 6 conference titles, 13 regional championships, 9 sectional championships, and brought home a state trophy 7 of the 13 years- finishing 2nd  in 2008 and 2013, 3rd in 2018, and winning the 2011, 2012, 2014, and 2019 4A State Championship.
