Summer Soccer Academy
Webster Groves Soccer Statesmen Summer Training will provide WGSD players the opportunity to train throughout the summer in order to prepare for the fall WGHS season or, in the case of Hixson students, the CYC/club seasons. Sessions will include exercises focusing on dribbling, passing, shooting, team possession, defending, and fitness, among other things. The training camp will be divided into two groups. The “varsity level” group (Group A) will be composed of the potential varsity players for the 2020 fall season (approximately 28-30 players). The rest of the registered participants will be in the “sub-varsity level” group (Group B). Group B Sessions will be on Tuesday and Thursday each week beginning on Tuesday, June 16th. Group A sessions will be Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday starting June 15th primarily in the morning, and Group B sessions will be in the evening. Players will be notified of group assignments, via email, in the first week of June.

*Group A summer friendlies will be played in the afternoon/evening on the following dates; June 22, 23 July 27, 28 (Rosters and details will be posted on the WG Soccer Website Calendar.)
Dutch Touch will be on Selma Field the week of July 13-16th in the evening. There will be no morning training sessions this week. This is for group A participants ONLY and other selected invites.
