The UTSA Department of Music and Dr. Rachel Woolf are excited to present the first ever virtual UTSA Flute Day on August 1st, 2020. All conducted over Zoom, UTSA Flute Day will focus on tone and technique development, as well as practice strategies for 2020-2021 TMEA Etudes. We are excited to have expert MFR therapist, Tanya Buchko Green lead a stretching and self-care class. We are also thrilled to have Flutistry's President and Founder Adam Workman lead a flute repair workshop. The event will conclude with YOUR personal recording session of a work for flute ensemble, so we can create a lasting memory through a virtual flute choir video. This class is catered towards all levels of flute players, and we welcome middle school, high school, college, and adult students. Please join us in this exciting day celebrating the flute!
