Event Description

4 Team Showcase Tournament

2 Games on Saturday, 1 Game on Sunday. Preceding Saturday’s games each team will take a 30 minute on field batting practice session and take a 15 minute pregame.
2 other local colleges guaranteed to be in attendance in addition to SAGU coaching staff.

Social distancing protocols, alternate seating/dugout arrangements, and modified rules will be in effect if warranted based on regulations/recommendations from the governor of Texas.

9:00 AM – TEAM 1 BATTING PRACTICE (TEAM 2 60’S)
9:30 AM – TEAM 2 BATTING PRACTICE (TEAM 1 60’S)
10:00 AM – TEAM 1 DEFENSIVE SHOWCASE
10:15 AM – TEAM 2 DEFENSIVE SHOWCASE
10:30 AM – 90 MIN TIMED GAME
12:15 PM – TEAM 3 BATTING PRACTICE & 60’S
12:45 PM – TEAM 3 DEFENSIVE SHOWCASE
1:00 PM – TEAM 1 VS. 3 TIME GAME
2:45 PM – TEAM 2 VS. TEAM 3 TIMED GAME
Cost: $700 per Team
(Limit 3 Teams per day) **other schools guaranteed in attendance**

Coaching staff will assess measurable tools including:

60 times
Exit velocity
Positional velocity
Catcher pop times before a controlled game

In game assessments include:

Home to first times
Pitching velocities
Pitch grades.

Additional assessments include fielding grades and swing playability at the collegiate level.
