Recruit Day Camp
Join us at Wildcat Field to learn more about the IWU Softball program and the skills and techniques that have created a successful program. Recruits will learn from both the IWU coaching staff and current players.
Arrival & Pick-Up
Check-in will be held at the entrance gate to the outfield of Wildcat Field. Each recruit will check-in with the IWU Softball Coaching Staff. Due to COVID-19, at this time, only recruits will be allowed on the field, in the dugouts and/or batting cages for the duration of the camp. Guests are welcome to remain in the stands and on the outside perimeter of Wildcat Field.
What to Bring
Required: Equipment, water bottle, softball attire (softball pants, tennis shoes, cleats, t-shirt/practice shirt/jersey top). Optional: snacks (will not be provided), money for apparel.
Pizza will be provided for recruits and guests. Guest count is required at the time of registering for the camp to assist with lunch orders.
Recruits will be provided a boxed meal from Subway/Jimmy Johns. All boxed meals will be consistent. No customizations will be made. Dietary/allergy restrictions will be accommodated as indicated on a student’s registration. Dinner will not be provided for guests. Guests are welcome to carry food in to the Outdoor Athletic Complex.
IWU Softball will have available for sale team apparel.

IWU Softball reserves the right to make any necessary adjustments or cancellations to this camp if the COVID-19 situation alters governmental and/or IWU policies & guidelines. The health and safety of recruits, guests, as well as our program’s student’ athletes and personnel is of the utmost importance to us. A COVID-19 screening process may be required at check-in, as guided by IWU policy. Recruits will be required to pass the screening before gaining entrance to the camp. Any recruit who has been exposed to COVID-19 and/or is ill prior to the camp should not attend the camp. We appreciate recruits and their families working with us to ensure the health and wellbeing of all in attendance.
Registration fees are due at the time of registration for the camp. Registrations cancelled on or before Monday, July 13, 2020, are eligible for a partial refund of 50% the registration fee submitted. Registrations cancelled after July 13th are ineligible for a refund. Questions regarding the refund policy can be sent to email@example.com. Processing fees & Ryzer fees are non-refundable at any time.
