|
Pre-Camp
The camp will be limited in numbers to reduce the risk according to the CDC and Pennsylvania best practices. Each camper will be asked a series of health related screening questions days leading up to camp and will be asked not to attend if those questions indicate possible sickness.
Each staff member will undergo the same screening process and will not be allowed to coach in the event of a potential sickness is indicated. Campers who screen out the camp will be given a refund minus the camp deposit of $25.00. If at any time a camper or family member feels unwell we ask the camper do not show up for camp and alert the camp director and the COVID point of contact.
COVID Point of Contact
The camp will provide a Certified Athletic Trainer who will serve as the point of contact for the camp and be responsible for maintaining all social distancing policies during the event. The name and contact information of the trainer will be provided to campers and staff prior to camp starting.
Drop Off
Masks will be worn by parents, campers and staff during the drop off period. We will organize drop off in registration order to best stagger the arrival of campers. We ask that parents do not stay on the field during practice. Parents may arrive for pick up and to watch practice 30 minutes prior to pick up, again masks must be worn. We ask at departure parents spread 6 feet apart and we will send the campers to their parents for departure.
Practice
Masks: All staff will wear masks anytime we are interacting with parents/guardians or campers. All campers will be required to wear masks at all times other than when they are in drills. Coaches will wear masks at all times.
Cohorting: Teams/Training groups
Campers will be assigned to a specific team and coach for the entirety of camp to limit contact across the group.
Hand Hygiene and Respiratory Etiquette:
We will teach and reinforce handwashing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and increase monitoring to ensure adherence among campers and staff.
• If soap and water are not readily available, hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol can be used (for staff and older children who can safely use hand sanitizer).
We encourage staff and campers to cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue. Used tissues should be thrown in the trash and hands washed immediately with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

RESTROOMS
