There are only a handful of leagues going forward with a season statewide, but we believe parents and kids at least need the opportunity to choose whether they want to participate or take the year off. As this pandemic has disrupted every aspect of our lives so obviously we all will be walking into uncharted territory.  Therefore, as we approach the season, parents and their children need to discuss, and understand, the risks involved with participating in RJFL. They also need to understand their responsibilities and never participate in practice or games when they are sick or have a fever, share drinks, or share helmets.

The number of teams, number of games, and schedules will evolve as we get closer to the first game. Practices times/locations will be arranged by the coaches following the draft. Your child's coach will notify you with those details.

Not only is this season going to need parents to step up and help with protocol to lessen the chance of someone getting infected, it will require parents to be patient as this season forms.

Again, your first "job" is to research the facts in relation to you and your child's health, and choose whether to participate. We are following the protocol set by the WHSAA and don't plan to require masks, but we certainly won't discourage their use. As such, please respect the choices parents make during the season. This is simply football for kids to have fun and parents to enjoy, in this world we now face.

Volunteering
This league is run entirely by volunteer help.  The more volunteers we can get, the more enjoyable it makes it for everyone. No previous experience is required to help coach or officiate… the league makes every attempt to insure that there is someone with experience working with you.
