Training Sessions

Our 60-minute skill development workouts are geared towards players who want to improve their game and compete at a higher level. We will push players out of their comfort zone to help them reach their full potential.

After spending 12 years coaching college basketball and recruiting players all across Texas and the nation, the goal of STX Director Doug Nicholsis to raise the level of play in all of South Texas. We are committed to teaching the game of basketball in an effort to help you be noticeable - to your friends, to your coaches, and to your opponents.

Many players will compete in 20-30+ games during the regular season and then play in twice that many during the summer! We know that games are important (and fun!), but we believe that games also show you the areas you need to improve. The only way to improve those skills is by working on them!

We will take our fundamentals to the next level and improve our overal basketball IQ by applying what we learn to game-specific situations. Game-like repetition will get players ready and confident for the games that matter.
