Bulldogs Basketball Camps

2020 Fall Skills Academy

The UMD Men's Basketball Fall Skills Academy is designed to promote maximum skill development prior to the start of the upcoming basketball season. The UMD Basketball coaches and players promote an energetic and enthusiastic environment which will make it fun for all ages.

September 19th, 26th, October 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th
Boys & Girls Grades: K - 8th
Time: 9:00 - 11:00 AM
Cost: $100 per Participant
Includes T-Shirt

Romano Gymnasium on the UMD campus.

Camp Includes:

  • Academy T-shirt (shown below)
  • Optional Add-on included in registration for 3 more t-shirts at $40 for the bundle
  • Coaching from UMD Staff & Players

UMD Fall Skills Academy – COVID-19 Updates

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, the following procedures will be followed to promote a safe & healthy camp atmosphere (As of 8/19). Guidelines are subject to change as MN Department of Health & CDC guidelines change throughout the summer.

  • Campers will be placed in “Pods” of 12 (including their coaches) and will stay with that group throughout camp
  • Masks will be required for entry & exit into the facility. Masks will be worn until physical activity deems them not appropriate. Masks will be worn during all warmup & build-up routines
  • Camp will not have any competitive, live, 5v5 component – Focus on Skill Development

The following adjustments to camp will also be in effect:

  • Special Dropoff Instructions: Daily Self Diagnosis Symptoms Chart must be filled out & Your temperature will be taken daily at drop off by our Certified Athletic Trainer. Campers will not be allowed access to camp if they have self-diagnosed symptoms, or a temperature over 100.
  • Parents will not be allowed to view/watch camp in Romano Gymnasium
  • Campers are required to bring their own water bottle
  • Restroom & Water Breaks will be scheduled – Each “Pod” of campers will be dismissed at different times.
